Terms of Service

By using CustomerID for QuickBooks ("the Service"), operated by Barnacle Apps, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

CustomerID for QuickBooks is a Chrome extension and web service that surfaces QuickBooks internal customer IDs within the QuickBooks Online interface. The Service connects to your QuickBooks account via OAuth and syncs Customer IDs to your account.

2. Account & Subscription

• You must create an account to use the Service
• The Service costs $5/month per QuickBooks company, billed via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your license key with others or use it across multiple organizations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates Intuit's QuickBooks terms of service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

4. QuickBooks Access

By connecting your QuickBooks account, you authorize us to read customer and invoice data and write Customer IDs back to your QB account. You can revoke this access at any time from your QuickBooks account settings. We are not affiliated with Intuit or QuickBooks.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barnacle Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any changes to your QuickBooks data made by the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
